Brian Garrick is a live production designer and technician who specializes in lighting, projections, and sound design. Raised in Salt Lake, he received his BFA in Theatre Design from Utah State University.  Brian has been involved in theatre for the past decade and, after discovering his love for technical theatre in high school, has never doubted that this is the life for him.  Some of Brian’s recent work includes sound design for Spring Awakening, assistant lighting design for A Christmas Carol, projection design for Puffs, master electrician for USU Opera’s Sweeney Todd, and lighting design for USU Theatre’s Misalliance.

Aside from theatre, Brian loves concert productions and whatever other fun opportunities may present themselves from bars to space labs. When he is not working on new projects, Brian can usually be found spending time with friends and family or watching funny videos of cats.
